Things to Consider Before Inquiring About Booking a Show

To ensure a smooth booking process and a successful event, see if you can gather some details about your event before reaching out (Don't panic if you aren't sure about everything, we can help you brainstorm!)

1. Event Logistics

  • Date of the Event: When is the event scheduled?
  • Venue Address: What is the location and address of the venue?
  • Parking: What is the parking situation like, especially for loading and unloading equipment?
  • Load-In/Load-Out Times: What are the designated times for setting up and breaking down equipment?

2. Technical Requirements

  • PA System: Do you have a provided PA system?
  • Sound Tech: Will a sound technician be available on-site?
  • Lights: Are there lighting setups available?
  • Stage: Is there a stage at the venue? What are the dimensions?
  • Power Supply: Do you have adequate power (minimum 2 x 20 amp circuits)?
  • Additional Equipment: Are there any additional technical information (e.g., backline, monitors)?

3. Event Details

  • Capacity: What is the expected audience size?
  • Special Event/Themed Party: Is this a special event or themed party?
  • Set Time: What are the planned set times for the performance?
  • Other Acts: Are there any other performers or acts scheduled?
  • Event Schedule: What is the overall schedule for the event?

4. Provisions and Amenities

  • Food and Drinks: Will food and drinks be provided for the performers?
  • Accommodations: Are accommodations included for the performers?
  • Dressing Rooms: Are there dressing rooms or a green room available?

5. Compensation and Contract

  • Budget: What is the budget for the performance?
  • Expenses: Are additional expenses covered (e.g., travel, accommodation, meals)?
  • Contract: Will there be a formal contract or agreement outlining the terms?

6. Promotion and Marketing

  • Event Promotion: How will the event be promoted?
  • Promotional Materials: Will you need promotional materials from us?
  • Merchandise Sales: Is there an opportunity to sell merchandise at the event?

  • Venue Policies: Are there any specific venue policies or restrictions?
